Amy Tenenouser, received a Bachelors Degree of Art from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, in 1986. She presently lives and works as an artist in New York City. She is currently exhibiting her work in several group exhibitions: Transit Sketches at Grand Central Station, NY, NY, Small Works Nagano Japan -Brooklyn NY as well as Walk On By in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She has exhibited her paintings, drawings and prints at, NYU Medical Center, NY, NY, The Greenpoint Gallery, Brooklyn New York, and the Bronx Art Center, Bronx NY, as well as in galleries in Washington DC and Los Angeles California. Ms. Tenenouser most recently published the book The Subway Drawings in 2018. She also was the founder and editor and chief for the independent Arts and Literary Magazine "Apocrypha" in Los Angeles California and Madrid Spain, which currently belongs to the collection of the Center of Book Arts, in NY, NY. Ms. Tenenouser has produced animations and short films independently with the support of The Pittsburgh Filmmakers in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and collectively with the animation group Nada Que Ver in Madrid Spain. She has participated in film festivals throughout Spain and France.
